About
Our story
A small home studio in East Victoria Park, run by two people, photographing Perth families since 2010.
Miwako Lucy
A photographer in Perth since 2010
My name is Miwako Lucy, and I am based in Perth, Western Australia.
In 2010 I moved to Australia from Japan. I worked for a Japanese newspaper company, where I had the chance to photograph products and events. Along the way I found that photographing people is the most challenging and the most rewarding, and that editing those photos gives me a real, quiet happiness. I love capturing memorable photos of special moments, and I would like to keep photographing your special moments throughout your life.
Dale Lucy
A second pair of hands
Dale supports and assists every session. Having a second pair of hands keeps newborn and cake-smash sessions calm and safe, and lets me concentrate on the photographs.
Why photos matter
Photos are what makes it possible to keep our memories in a real sense. Looking at them makes us happy, and when we are down they cheer us up. People who were not with us when the photos were taken can still understand what was happening, just by looking.
A good life is one where you share it with someone.

Where we work
We work from a small home studio in East Victoria Park, Perth, and we are always happy to travel for on-location sessions, though an additional fee may apply.
In two languages
English and Japanese
We welcome enquiries in both English and Japanese, and you can also reach us on LINE. We photograph Japanese cultural occasions such as Shichi-go-san and Japanese-style pre-wedding sessions for families in Perth.
